Separ UK History
Separ UK are suppliers of fuel filtration equipment and fuel polishing systems to the generator, heavy machinery, transport, agricultural and marine industries
1989
Separ Distribution UK was formed in the early part of 1989 and commenced trading on 1st July that year with only one product range, Separ Fuel Filters (Willibrord Losing Filter-Technik of Hattingen). The Separ Filter/Water Separator range covers diesel and petrol engine applications, with our early customers being in the UK marine market.

Our main market is marine (pleasure, coastal commercial and fishing) with 16 distributors being appointed in the first 18 months of trading.
1993
In 1993 to further develop the business the company started to look for new products that complemented the Separ range.
1994
Having already picked up the fuel conditioning devices to control bacterial growth in middle distillate fuel, in 1994 Separ distribution UK became a distributor for Mahle filtration equipment (lube oil) through their main distributor in the UK, servicing the marine and generating set builders. By this time the company was also selling Separ equipment into the off-road and plant markets.
1995
www.separ.co.uk was launched, allowing customers 24/7 access to technical data, as well as selection data and specifications for our product ranges.
1996
Separ UK's own brand name "WASP" was registered and trademarked. Products made by or for Separ UK other than those already carrying the Separ name will therefore be WASP branded.
1998
In 1998 we were appointed as sub-agents for CJC lube and fuel oil filtration equipment, together with Reverso Oil change systems from Reverso in Florida.
1998
To improve our technical capabilities and assist with ISO 9001 (which we attained initially in September 1998 and have maintained ever since), we developed our technical and quality department. This division is core to our belief in quality above all else.

With continued growth, Separ UK moved from its original Watford facility to a new, larger custom-built location in near-by Kings Langley in April 2007.
